and yes 48 K is the Base Price on the Lotus Website, but thats for a Soft Top add 1 or 2 grand for a hard top.

Also consider limited truck space, no rear seating and a location of a dealer for service when considering purchasing an Elise. Finally, the main reason people don’t like it as an every day car is the fact that to get in it, you must contort your body into an uncomfortable position. Sure, it might not sound like much now, but doing it every day really gets on your nerve.
