sorry mine is a 69 i forgot to mention the the year difference but i even think mine is the same colour green
The County Fair Derby run in NY [outside of hamburg] doesn’t allow Wagons of any kind , you can run any full size car, just as long as it ain’t a wagon
the judges considered them an un-fair

can’t be original if it has a 427, 69 was the last year for the 427, 454s were used from 70 and on.
The red car is wierd. It has the body of a 75 or 76, probably an Impala (has window in C Pillar), but the front clip is of a 1974 Caprice.
This may sound funny, but I’d take the ‘76 Olds just for hauling the kids around in.
Where are the quality MOPARS ?
Haha, i never noticed the beeper till now. Its from the loader preparing the derby track.

I’ve seen a few in ohio…but very few. Wish there were more on the roads.
allot of nice looking old cars there do you have and like 68-72 nova ss down there ???
1st car is a 73 Caprice 2nd is a 75 Impala wagon 3rd is a 75 Impala 4th is a 74 Impala 5th is a 76 Olds Delta 88 custom cruiser 6th is a 74 Impala wagon all those body styles were made from 1971-1976 and thanks to the evils of demo derbies there are very few left. Don’t get me started on the poor Imperials and other C body Mopars murdered.
Hope none of those cars become derby cars. ffs you can’t find old 70’s iron anymore.smash up some jap **** imports instead!
my bro n law has a nice 75 or 76 impala wagon very good condition all origional and runs great, i told him ima steel it and derby it and he said he would kill me lol =P he derbys too so i know it will never be derbyed if he hasnt already done it

the caprice clasic looks like a 72, i hope it never derbys, it’s pretty sweet… the green 74 4 door impala would do great!
I certainly hope that none of these cars are turned into derby cars. Those Impala wagons are getting rare and you don’t see them around much anymore. And part of the reason for that is so many people turned them into derby cars in the past.

the first green caprice is mine.thanx for the comments.its all original,56xxx miles(interior is still original).i had the hood popped but i dint raise it up till a little later in the day,sorry.
had a great time at the show.a little cold but thats better than rain,haha.
later in the day about 5 more showed up,i guess they were to late.
